Hair Perming
Do you desire a perm look on your hair? Well, you can go ahead but only when you are sure that your face can carry the perm look! Perm makes a
fashion statement and the person sporting this look immediately draws attention of the eyes. But never think of doing it without the advice of a
professional.
Types of Perms
Perms are of different types ranging from permanent to temporary. Opt for the type which you like most. Perm makes your hair appear to be
thick, adds a new dimension to your physical appearance. Perm can make your hair very soft. Different people go for this look thinking from
different perspectives.
Before you perm
Ensure that the hair perming would look pretty on you and only then decide to have it. After a perm, if you feel it does not suit your face or
your personality, the long process would be wasted. The process of perming varies with different hair types. Hair perming involves having extra
long hair and maintaining this long chemical treated hair is not so easy. You have to take special care and keep it in good condition by
conditioning and moisturizing it.
Caring for your Perm
Permed hair requires special care. It needs extensive attention. Don’t perm your hair if you have added colors to it. But you can color your
hair after you have permed it. Still, undergoing the two chemical processes simultaneously is not advisable as they can be responsible for
damaging your hair; better opt for the one you desire most. Don’t have the wrong notion that extensive usage of shampoo will do any good; rather
it can deteriorate your hair condition. Instead, use good hair conditioner for moisturizing your hair. Towel you hair with care and don’t let it
be entangled in knots.
Time involved
The procedure of hair perming generally takes at least two hours. But it would take a whole day to have the full effect and add drama to your
appearance. In most cases perm stays for a period of 3 to 5 months which allows you to undo it if you feel bored with the perm look!
