Body Wraps
Body wrapping is now very common in most of the salons and spas. This treatment involves removing fat from key parts of your body such as
thighs, hips, and waist. This procedure is based on usage of special clothing or wraps or with certain creams and lotions.
Which body wrap?
Some wraps are made of rubber or plastic clothing which is worn around the waist. Some wrappers cover the hips or thighs or waist. Other
wrappers cover the whole body. Some of these wrappers have to be worn while you are doing exercises. Some should be worn when you are doing your
daily works; some need to be put on while you are having a slumber. Some wrappers are filled with air by the aid of vacuum cleaner; some are
filled with electric hair dryer to give an effect of warm air. Wrapper is either utilized after the application of gel or cream or after it is
imbibed in a solution. Some years ago plastic wrap material was in vogue.
How body wraps work?
The treatment of body wrapping is very riveting. It is comparable to the condition when one is suffering from fever. The treatment of body
wrapping removes toxins by sweating which is observed when our body is attacked by fever. But the intensity of
detoxification varies with people.
The procedure of body wrapping is not similar in all case. Even the materials used in this process can differ. Generally materials like mud,
seaweed and salt are used and in most of the cases, the person undergoing the treatment is covered from neck to feet with his arms placed close
to the body sides.
