Basic Facial
Most beauty programs available at spas are plausible. But visiting spas means spending money and spending time which may not always be
possible for you. Don’t worry! Facials can be done meticulously at your home, you only need to know the simple steps which involve cleansing the
skin with beauty products readily available off the shelf.
Cleanse and Exfoliate
Commence your facial by cleansing the face. For each type of skin, there are a variety of facial cleansers- which one you choose depends
totally on your preference and budget.
The next step is to apply an exfoliating scrub mainly to the face. This scrub is excellent in the removal of dead cells, unclogging the black
heads and bringing the natural oils to the surface of the skin. It also makes way for the oxygen to refresh the new skin.
Steam
Rinse off the exfoliating scrub with water. It’s time for steaming the pores to clean them. Don’t fall for the commercial devices; rather rig
up a bowl of boiled water and a towel to be put over your head and to cover it. Your face must be a foot above the bowl. Remain in this position
for ten minutes. The steam vapours unclogs the pores which in turn reduces the chance of black heads and pimples. If you have very oily skin, try
this steam treatment out for ten minutes every night. Afterwards, wash your face with water and pat dry.
Moisturize
Apply a good moisturizer to your damp skin. Moisturizer is helpful for all kinds of skin if they are chosen according to the skin type. The
moisturizer retains the natural moisture of the skin; moreover it invites more moisture to get into the skin.
