Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is an art of massaging with oil-free and vaporous
extracts of plants and flowers. It plays a role of a magician in
enlivening your body, mind and soul which eventually elevates your
over all appearance. The oils of aromatherapy contain Lavender,
Geranium, Rose, Lemongrass, Neroli, Roman Chamomile and Basil.
These blossoms are mixed with oils such as Walnut, Grape seed or
Almond or other vegetable oils to beautify you both outside and
inside.
Aroma allured our predecessors and continues to make a good
impact on us. It treats our physical wounds as well as depressed
hearts. But knowledge of appropriate utilization of these oils is
required before you jump into using any of these oils. These
massage oils are very common in health centers or in spas. But you
can use them at home provided you have proper knowledge of their
utilization.
Personalized Aromatherapy Oils
You can create your own personalized oils. This can be done by
mixing Eucalyptus, Neroli, Rosemary, Lavender, Peppermint and
Nutmeg in the base oils. Add a few droplets of Basil which will
improve the mixture. To have a fresh effect you can use Rose,
Lavender or Roman Chamomile oil in your bathing water. Scattering
oils into the air is known as diffusion. You can create your own
diffuser at home. This can be done by adding aromatic oils in a
bowl of water and putting it on a radiator. Inhale them to
experience an exquisite and calming effect.
Aromatherapy and Skin Problems
Aromatherapy is also popular in the treatment of skin suffering
from dryness or acne. It ameliorates the skin giving it a perfect
glow. It is wonderful when incorporated in your manicure and
pedicure routine. Wrinkles of skin can be avoided by the treatment.
Massage your body with Lavender, Bergamot, Jojoba or Sandalwood oil
after a bath and at night before heading for bed.
